## The live Verified badge

For businesses that are [SoukLocal Verified](https://souklocal.ae/verified-badge). The badge links to your public profile and is read from our records every time it loads, so it can never outlive your verification: if a document expires or verification is withdrawn, it changes to "not currently verified".

Your own code, with your profile address filled in, is in your [business dashboard](https://souklocal.ae/business) once you are verified. It looks like this:

## Using the widgets

- Keep the SoukLocal credit link visible, and do not change, crop or cover the figures.
- The widgets are for information. They are estimates and checklists, not quotes, legal advice or approvals.
- The second line of each snippet lets the widget set its own height. Without it, set the iframe height yourself.

## Questions

**Are the SoukLocal widgets free?**

Yes. Any website can embed them free of charge. Keep the SoukLocal credit link visible and do not change the figures the widget shows.

**Do the widgets track my visitors?**

No. The widgets set no cookies and run no advertising or analytics scripts. Links back to SoukLocal carry your site name so we can see which sites send visitors.

**How current are the numbers?**

The widgets load from souklocal.ae every time, so they always show the current rates, community data and permit rules, with no update needed on your side.

**Can any business use the Verified badge?**

No. Only a business that is currently SoukLocal Verified gets a badge, from its business dashboard. The badge is live: if verification lapses or is withdrawn, it changes to "not currently verified" by itself.
