How long does a renovation NOC take in Dubai?
It depends on the developer, the community and the job. Building management NOCs for apartments are often quoted at 7 to 14 days. SoukLocal collects reported times from homeowners and contractors and publishes the median per community once there are at least 5 reports.
How are approval times calculated?
Each report gives the calendar days from submitting a complete application to receiving the approval. We publish the median and the middle half of reports for each community and approval step, only when at least 5 reports exist, and never show individual reports.
Who can report an approval time?
Anyone who applied: homeowners, contractors and consultants. Reports are anonymous; we keep no names, only the community, the approval step, the job type, the month and the days.
